Read with Biff, Chip and Kipper - the UK's best-selling home reading series.

With the (UK) government's increased emphasis on phonics, Read at Home, the UK's best-selling home reading series, has been fully revised and relaunched as Read with Biff, Chip and Kipper.

The series has been designed by educational experts to help parents support their child's development as a reader and to complement what their child is learning at school. Biff, Chip, Kipper and Floppy the dog are familiar and much-loved characters from the Oxford Reading Tree.

Read with Biff, Chip and Kipper has two strands: Phonics and First Stories.

The new Phonics books are entertaining stories which enable children to practise their letters and sounds just as they do at school. This provides valuable practice for the new reading test, which will be introduced in schools for 6 year olds.

First Storiesare motivating stories which help new readers practise reading everyday words and develop vocabulary.
